She wanted Lady Eboshi gone because she was destroying the things she loved. Princess Mononoke was raised by wolves and resented humankind. And Lady Eboshi was planning to develop a more advanced weapon to kill the forest god. They also created firearms to protect against the angry gods from the forest. The town was a place for social rejects and provided them a place to live and work. Lady Eboshi leads the destruction and creation of iron town. When he reaches Irontown, Ashitaka finds out that pig demon is originally a good yokai, it becomes evil because Lady Eboshi and her people try to shoot at it. He saved two soldiers from Irontown on his way. After Ashitaka leaves a monk told him that he may find help in a Great Forest Spirit. The village witch said that Ashitaka must leave the village and find a cure in the western lands.
But the demon hurt Ashitaka’s arm during the battle. The prince named Ashitaka, kills the demon successfully. In the beginning of the film, a village located in eastern Japan is attacked by a pig demon.
